First Time in Korea for Wisata Medis — 2026 Complete A-to-Z Guide
Planning your first Korea wisata medis trip? From visa preparation to post-return aftercare, MediQueen guides you through every step. With this guide, there's nothing to fear even if it's your first time.
Step 1: Visa & Entry
Citizens of most countries can stay 90 days visa-free via K-ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization). For extended perawatan, apply for a wisata medis visa (C-3-3 or G-1-10) — MediQueen assists with documentation. Apply K-ETA at least 72 hours before departure; ensure your passport is valid for 6+ months.
Step 2: Airport to Hotel
Use MediQueen's VIP pickup service for a private car from Incheon Airport to your Gangnam accommodation (50–70 minutes). SIM cards and pocket WiFi are available at the arrivals level.
Step 3: First Consultation
Visit the klinik the day before or morning of perawatan for specialist konsultasi. A MediQueen coordinator accompanies you with real-time interpretation (English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, Vietnamese). Thoroughly discuss prosedur details, expected results, pemulihan, and precautions.
Step 4: Perawatan Day
Arrive 30 minutes early for cleansing and numbing cream. Perawatan takes 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on type. Rest at the klinik for 30–60 minutes post-perawatan. Premium kliniks with VIP lounges offer private pemulihan rooms.
Step 5: Pemulihan
For non-bedah perawatans, return to normal activities within same day to 3 days. Contact your coordinator 24/7 via the MediQueen app; immediate klinik connection if any concerns arise.
Step 6: Follow-up & Return
Get a follow-up check before departure and receive perawatan records and aftercare guides. MediQueen provides free remote konsultasis for 6 months post-return.
