26th Asan Chrysanthemum Exhibition Through November 5 at Tangjeong Mediterranean Village — Over 5,000 Chrysanthemums and Chrysanthemum Tea Tasting

The Asan Chrysanthemum Exhibition, Asan’s signature autumn exhibition, runs from October 30 to November 5 around the Mediterranean Village in Tangjeong-myeon. More than 5,000 bonsai, sculpted, and flower-bed chrysanthemums are on display, with chrysanthemum tea tasting and a seedling-planting experience, making it a good stop for visitors to Cheonan and Asan in the first week of November.

The 26th Asan Chrysanthemum Exhibition, hosted by the City of Asan, runs from October 30 to November 5 around the Mediterranean Village in Tangjeong-myeon. More than 5,000 chrysanthemums, including bonsai, sculpted, and flower-bed varieties, are on display, together with chrysanthemum tea tasting, a seedling-planting experience, and a prize event for visit verification. The Mediterranean Village is a commercial district lined with Mediterranean-style buildings, and during the exhibition it is pleasant to look around its cafes and restaurants as well. The Mediterranean Village is about 15 minutes by car from KTX Cheonan-Asan Station and close to Tangjeong Station on Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 1, so a same-day visit from Seoul is also possible. In early November, the inland area of Chungnam sees a large temperature gap between morning and evening, so bring an extra layer, and check the exhibition’s operating hours and experience program schedule in the official notice from the City of Asan. If you are visiting Cheonan or Asan for gynecology care or a health check-up, dropping by the exhibition as a light walking course before or after your appointment is not a strain. When you consult about hospitals in the Cheonan and Asan area, MediQueen also advises on your route between KTX Cheonan-Asan Station and the Baebang and Tangjeong residential areas.
